Currently
the ASA is developing the following projects:
1. WOMEN AND LABOUR:
IMPACT OF GLOBALIZATION ON WOMEN'S LABOUR STATUS.
It is an one-year research project aiming to improve
women's access to the market and to current and
future employment opportunities in three countries
of Central and Eastern Europe and the CIS (Bulgaria,
Kazakhstan and Poland) within the context of privatization
and globalization. The project is supported by
the UNIFEM- RER/98/W02 - Women's Economic Opportunities
and Capacities in the CEE/CIS.
2. LABOUR MARKET IN THE
REGIONS BOURGAZ, RODOPY AND SOFIA/PERNIK.
The one-year project aims to make a social and
institutional assessment in order to assist current
and future unemployed from the three regions in
their job hunting, and also to contribute to the
development of the Governmental Employment Programme
through improvement of the labour market strategy
and training programs. The Ministry of Labour
and Social Policy in Bulgaria supports the project.
